This is one of my favorite growers! Flowers are very deep yellow. It flowers "Before the Leaves Appear" in mid to late May, long after any danger of frost. Leaves are very large (almost tropical, but extremely hardy), (Woodsman x Elizabeth), USA. Very unique specimen tree, and very popular!
